Benediction

Splash of cold water on my face to wake me up after a terrible night.

Hot tea after a long day at others plight.

The right turn, when I thought I lost my way.

The nostalgic music on my shuffled playlist, I wish I lost my way.

Sip of glacial water on parched lips, hiking up the mountain.

The softness of a warm bed, after climbing down the mountain.

A long tight hug just to keep me standing, when I am falling.

A forehead kiss to say I am proud,  you are standing!

Sound of a child's giggle in utter silence.

Silence in the midst of a storm!

Sudden belly laughter and watery eyed joy!

Every moment is grace and Benediction!!
