Where did you disappear?

This time of the year,
I wonder where did you disappear?

I remember;
The loving warm smile, in the morning
The scar on your neck, I loved kissing!
The curve of your lower lip, so distinct
The soulful voice , always humming
The mysterious laugh, always teasing
The animated talks, I loved hearing
Every small detail of you and me!

Long lazy days in each other arms laughing
Long long road trips non-stop singing
Long long forest walks non-stop talking
Long long nights enjoying blissfully
Long long hours of tete-a-tete
Love was  quintessential!

You slipped away like the sand from the fist,
Now  me on a quicksand of pain and sorrow
Now you are an achingly, beautiful memory!
I have a part of you forever in my daughter!!!!
I loved truly, madly, deeply!

To the Divine I am ever grateful for this love!
To the Divine I am ever grateful for his grace!
To the Divine I pray for his peace.
Happy Birthday Honeypot!
