What's new normal? 

Sounds like a gentler place

Even after a catastrophic storm

Just that the storm washed away all semblance.

What's new normal?

Where you are largely yourself

yet, fundamentally radically changed 

The wreckage of the aftermath

What's new normal?

The outer landscape smiles to the world

The inner landscape desperately searching strength

Outer shells becoming stronger

What's new normal?

Where you freeze mid sentence

An innocent laughter ends in tears

Feel despairingly lonely in a loving crowd

What's new normal?

When you hug longer and tighter

When you love fully and finally

Good byes are never hurried 

What's new normal?

Is probably a Divine solace...

Of what cant be in place

Or a beautiful acceptance of a complex interlace!
