Shadows

Full moon showers its mercy with light

Children gather around at night

Giggling at their shadows with delight

Dainty fingers dance become fishes and unicorns

On a bone chilling stark night

Thoughts dark like the bitter black coffee 

Lonelier than the loneliest Bear

An unannounced companion came along with a tiny light!

Light and shadows on an empty street 

Feels like a game of Hide and seek 

What you show  the light is it real?

what you hide, the shadow, is that real?

He promised to be my shade like a giant tree

Also be my shadow like a Mother's grace

At once, I lost the shade and the shadow

Shadows too disappear in the darkness

I drown myself in the shadows of the past

Bleak light visible at  faraway lighthouse

Shadows of the past become oars

Oars steer the boat to light 

Game of shadows

Company of shadows

Comfort of shadows

Betryal of shadows 

Strength of shadows 

Have seen it all like a witness in a Jury

The silhouette grew big, small and dead

Me and shadows are finally amicable

In the Divine opera of light and no light!
