Strangers

Warm morning rays falling on the grass
Wet dew too waiting for those rays
I sat on the park bench like the dew
Insignificant yet visible

I moved my head right and left
Like the leaves swayed with the breeze
People hustle as time squeezes
Didn't I just notice ants do that

Bunch of old men in a circle
Laughing away life's glories
Like the dew disappers
The laughter evapourates too

My hawk eyes now scans around
The sight falls on another dew
No no it was a woman
Lost in her own rhythm

She removes her tight shoes
As if shoes knew all her rues
The naked feet now touching the grass
She smiled the broadest smile..Alas

She glanced around withdrew the smile
Our eyes met finally like the dew and rays
They talked while we sat silent
Rays warm the dew

In sea of strangers
Some touch you like gentle waves
Some never reach you
The dews smiled and parted!
