Blink
Long ago not so long one summer
Girls walking in the dense woods
Looked at pretty purple flowers
Like a cushy mushy carpet
Enticed by the purple beauties
They bend down gently feel the creeper
In a blink , the leaves yelled
Touch me not and hid away
They ran to a Big Banyan tree
It felt like an entire cosmos
Birds were having a conference
In a blink, hush they all flew away
One spotted a colourful Butterfly
It had yellow blue red and orange
Resting on a large wild orchid
Closer they went, In a blink its gone
Girls exhausted went to a stream
Streams dancing twirling into springs
Fishes kissed the air or practicing syllables
Blink, against the flow they swam away
As the journey continued
They got stuck in a morass
Struggling they dragged their feet
Sticky boots heavy legs they got out
The birds returning home
Sun yawning in need of a coffee
Blink! out of the woods
Time to call it a day
In a blink you enter and exit
Those tiny moments of eternity
One blink and life becomes topsy turvy
Long ago not so long ago..
We exist in a Blink
