Lost conversations

I am for once lost for words
As though my language is erased
Halcyon state of time long gone
Like a faded rug emotions too in oblivion

I fondly called you a word smith
Enticed by the words you weaved
Everything felt calm and right
And then your words dried

I spoke in my head
when I saw the stunning sunrise
when I tasted heaven in a piece of cake
when I saw a new bud erupt into a flower

I heard a stirring ghazal
Starts of slow with crescendo 's
It paused at such a beautiful word
I looked for you to see if you noticed

A long slide in the park
She feared a fall on coming down
I told do it anyways, she landed perfectly
I nudged you, did you see her beaming smile?

An argument broke out
I am not sure if I am wrong or right?
I stood my ground and did what's right
I looked for you to fall back..

The conversations lost
The songs never heard
Smiles missed seeing
Tiny moments of love not felt

I collected those stolen moments
Made them all into a big ball
Buried in a deep cavern of my heart
What a waste to be buried?

I strung them together
Jumbled up words here and there
Add a little rhyme and chime to all the grime
Lost conversations became poems!
