Canopy
Hungrily suckling one moment
Sleeping off the next
Is there a better place on earth?
Than, the Canopy of Mother's Bosom
A baby smiles and coo's
Having a tete a tete
With a rotating toy
Wide eyed in a canopy of a cradle
Expansive grasslands
Shimmering sun flowing
Picnics, merrily under
Fluffy canopy of white clouds
Hiking the higher Himalayas
Lost amongst the sunny woods
Sweat strewn spirit too, then
Cool breezy canopy of pines welcome
To love and hold them forever
Tie a knot
Drapes and canopies of bouquets
Behold and bear witness
Dusty busy road
Sweltering in the sun's heat
An old homeless unaware rests
Shady canopy of trees in the alley
What is that I like of canopy?
The shade and nip of air
The tender gentle protection
or the sheer unexpected beauty?
When grief hit the door
Snuggling into darkness
Love lost in the abyss
Canopy of memories trickled
Invisible to naked eye
Spreading frisson of delight
How and when mysteriously
Canopy of Divine light arrives
Oh, Wordly profane one
Have you not felt this anytime
Tenderness of a canopy?
Bosom so giving
People too are canopies
A piece of Divine one
Me and you
